Room and bathroom dimensions left little space for maneuvering. AC control issues arose. Although there was an attempt to fix it, comfort was compromised. The pool felt more like an oversized bath-too small for proper swimming. The lounge area was mixed with sounds from the outside, impacting the peacefulness expected.

Modern and pleasant hotel in an unbeatable position in a cozy Rio neighborhood near a beautiful square. Outstanding and great breakfast for the start of the day. Good customer care. Really nice experience there: )

Located in a convenient area, the Petit Rio Hotel offers a good budget option for travelers. My stay in a Standard Twin Room provided quick access to the nearby metro. The breakfast caught my attention. There were plenty of fruits, scrambled eggs, and various pastries, made mornings enjoyable. Housekeeping did a decent job, keeping the room tidier than expected. That said, the AC was inconsistent. The narrow street made getting taxis a bit hectic. Despite these challenges, the staff was responsive, especially after I reported the AC issue. A little more attention to the room amenities would elevate the overall stay especially since I heard neighboring guests dealing with similar AC troubles, which could suggest some need for maintenance.

Upon arriving, i was greeted with utter chaos, only one person at check-in woudl ve been fine if i didn't wait hours. The air conditioning was so unreliable, it left me feeling sticky and uncomfortable, but what can you expect? I almost considered giving a good review, but just couldn't with how i was treated.
